I haven’t been playing EVE for more than a year now, although I have been keeping my accounts training all this time. I decided that it’s time that I get back into New Eden and I wanted to see how W-Space has evolved during my absence.

Agatir Solenth (who as you may recall has written some awesome posts in this blog) has been a member of Exhale./Polarized. for quite some time and has been talking to me about how awesome they are and how great PVP fun he enjoys.

So.. to cut a long story short, I am now a member of Explorer Corps, member of Polarized. and back in W-Space!!

So far it’s been a blast! Particularly, over the last week, I’ve participated in what a lot of people call “the biggest fight in W-Space history” where we mounted an operation to invade and evict Loveshack, Transmission Lost’s Class5 home system.

I am writing this as the op has been completed and TL’s home base has been utterly destroyed. I will soon follow up with a report and cool screenshots from the op.

I want to thank all of you who have been following this blog – expect more awesome stuff in the near future!

ORE Frigate and Caldari Destoyer revealed

CCP just announced details on the upcoming ORE Mining Frigate as well as pictures from the new Caldari Destroyer.

The ORE Frigate is confirmed to have:

• A Utility High Slot
• +2 Warp Strength
• A Bonus to Gas Harvesting

While quite inactive for the past year or so in-game, the SI Radio corp that brought you Planet Risk will be attending (including all our alts) the EVE SummerFest 2012 in Greece next weekend. No less than 8 of us will be there, partying with other Greek fans like no tomorrow!

The great news is that we’ll have the chance to interview some of CCP’s lead devs, including none other than the man with the vision – CCP’s Creative Director Torfi Frans Olafsson – CCP t0rfifrans.

What we’d like from you is to post in the comments below any question you would like us to ask these guys – be it regarding wormholes, EVE, Dust or what they had for breakfast!

I wanted to give out a shoutout to Alekseyev Karrde who will be running for the next CSM and give him my support in his campaign.

Alekseyev Karrde is running on a platform of "War and Sov That Works For Everyone." As it suggests, his main focus are the three key issues that we know CSM7 will have to deal with: Rewrite of the aggression system and empire war decs, iteration on Faction Warfare, and a revamp of the sov system (and potentially NPC 0.0 as well). Alek has 4 years of experience as a mercenary who fights all over EVE, empire, 0.0, wormholes you name it, and served with distinction on CSM4.

For those of you who were wondering WTF happened with us, or those of you who have been missing us on the radiowaves.. well.. rejoice! :-p

However, I did mention that this is going to be our final post (at least for the time being). Both me and Quivering Palm have decided to take a long-long break from EVE and focus on this Massively Multiplayer Offline game called Real Life™. Not much to be said other than that it has been a helluva ride.

I’m extending huge gratitude to all the people who have followed us throughout these years, who spent their gaming time with us, who laughed at our jokes and tolerated our 3 hour long nonsense and drunken stupor. It’s time for us to pull the curtain and go for that lengthy intermission. I do say ‘intermission’ because you never know.. we could be back some day. When will that be though… putting it in Duke Nukem Forever terms.. “When we will”…
