The second episode is up, and boy did we have fun broadcasting it!.
In this episode we talk a bit about ship fittings when going against the sleepers as well as touching the second part of our story arc of whether it’s worth to go into a wormhole from the Harvester’s perspective.

We where planning to discuss in detail about POS Fittings, but being in a Live Radio Show, things not always plan out as you expected… We will make sure to talk about POS Fittings in our next episode though! In the meantime, there is a pretty good discussion going on here, where you might want to chip-in your comments.

We created a new poll, as promised, and we would like to hear what you think – just vote on the tab on the right. Next show we will be talking about T3 Production and would love to hear your take on T3 ships!

Last, but not least, here is Quivering Palm’s fitting for his RRing-Armor-Tanked-Raven used in Class 5 farming, mentioned in this episode. Please go and contribute to the hate it has already generated over at Battleclinic.com :-)

    Guys,
offlining plates removes their mass from your ship. So if you don’t want to reduce wormhole mass, offline them before you jump then online again after you jump through. Note, you need 75% of your max cap to online a single module in space, so it leaves you pretty low on cap if some nasty people are camping the gate!

    Cheers,

    Btek

Hello Btek, thank you for your comment!

Yes, you are correct, offlining the plates will not issue a mass penalty, however we have found out that:

    (a) you can always count that someone will forget to offline them or even worse – to online them
    (b) going for higher resistances rather than buffer tank is much better for fighting Sleepers
    (c) the cap needed is not so much of a problem (unless ofcourse there is a gank on the other side) since we always fit some Energy Transfers

I’ll make sure to talk abit about that in the next episode to further explain.

    Cheerz!
