Greetings my fellow corp men, women, & blog readers!!!

As many of you have made it known, you want a new Planet Risk Podcast!!! Unfortunately it doesn’t look like that is on the near horizon. I, like you, enjoy podcasts that focus on the game of EVE. Additionally if you are reading this, you also enjoy a good blog. With the death of the iPhone application Capsuleer, so has gone my ability to get my quick EVE fix, while away from my computer. Now I actually have to use my internet browser to track down all my favorite blogs.

Needless to say… this has given me the idea of sharing some of those items I have been enjoying absent the Planet Risk Show & Capsuleer.

Blogs to Check Out:

If you want to get a feel for the politics of war in EVE, then check out Fiddler’s Edge. It is written akin to a historian reflecting on and interpreting the events of the past, then explaining their causes. The author also speculates and gives opinions on current events. As an older EVE player I’m sorry I hadn’t found this blog sooner.

Still interested in the guys of Si Radio, our perspectives, and the things we learn about EVE while drinking beer? Then EVE Online Wormholes is for you.

Podcasts:

I have two suggestions. One tends to be PvP focused while the other is an all around show about the game of EVE. Both are available on Apple iTunes.

First up, Declarations of War Podcast hosted by Jimer Lins. Jimer also hosts the DoW show on SIRadio Saturday nights at 2100-2300 EST. This podcast is not as regular as I would like it to be (what EVE podcast is?), but when the merry band from Noir. gets a few friends together, they discuss the mechanics & politics of being a merc & pvper in EVE. Want to know what that life style is about? Then give them a listen. Did I mention Noir Academy is currently recruiting?

Second up, is the Lost in EVE Podcast. This is quickly becoming my favorite EVE podcast. The past two seasons had weekly installments, but Jade & Jayne have changed it up to be bi-weekly. It would seem that they have decided that they want to have a balance of real lives & game time too. I just recently started listening, and already have heard conversations with members of the CSM & CCP! If you really want insight into how CCP views the CSM, I’d suggest that you go check out Episode 1 from Season 3. Additionally they are adding a round table discussion podcast to their lineup. Topics vary week to week, and are from the perspective of two normal guys who love to play EVE, that don’t claim to be experts.

Now if you have any blogs or podcast you are enjoying, then post a comment with a link!

Greetings my fellow corp men, women, & blog readers!!!

I bet some of you have been wondering… What the hell has happened to SI Radio? Where are the new podcasts?

As a Senior Member of SI Radio, I have the same questions… but let me tell you what I do know, and update you. As you have heard leadership took a big hit when Luminous Aardokay stepped down as CEO. It was immediately followed by an absence by our new CEO, due to real life commitments. Estar “I RAEG” Tarns, was assigned the duties as the Director of day to day operations, and things were going pretty well. We had several systems upgraded to assist in the spawning of wormholes, we had a full T3/Logi fleet in the corp hangars ready for Class 5&6 operations. To insure we had enough pilots online to take advantage of every wormhole available we even began a recruitment drive, and are fortunate to have added several new pilots to our roster. Errik Thrakkar in particular has stood out. He has quickly shown his dedication to the corp and has been promoted to Senior Member, and appointed SI Radio’s first official Diplomat.

Unfortunately that is the end of the “good” news. Just when you think you are making your way forward, someone comes into your sandbox, knocks over your castle, and kicks sand in your face. And that is exactly what happened to SI Radio. As you know we had taken residence in the H-K pocket in Providence, as a renter under Noir Mercenary Group. They were in turn under the umbrella of protection of AAA. Well when AAA was finally pushed out of their space, you can guess what came next… You got it sov war fare broke out in and around the pocket. There has been plenty of finger pointing and discussion regarding reasons for the fall of our little bit of space, but to be honest it was expected. Here is my explanation and understanding of it… Once CVA was pushed out of their space by AAA, Noir. was given the pocket of H-K. Noir.’s intention for the pocket was more for financial gain and fun than any desire to be involved in sov. It was good little place for them to make isk from rent, ratting, and random pvp. Though not directly said, it was implied that if any major incursion were to happen AAA would take the lead on any sov defenses, and Noir. would assist in the defense of their space. However it was quite clear that Noir. wasn’t going to invest heavily in a losing fight. Could Noir. have done more to solidify political connections in Providence itself and the surrounding pockets? Yes. Did they want to? No. To be honest I don’t blame them. They know what they enjoy… being mercenaries!!! IMHO you can’t be more of a mercenary than to get paid to take a system away from a group, make a good chunk of isk from that captured system, make the old sov holders work to take it back, and then exit with little loses.

SO under the orders of Estar Tarns, SI Radio was evacuated from the H-K pocket. I felt obligated to finally break down and purchase my first capital ship, the Archon, to help jump stuff out. We are re-organizing and have begun our return to 0.0 space, and as well as standing up a few other isk making ventures.

As for the podcast called, “the Planet Risk Show,” we all hope for its return… if only to hear that cool techno music again.

SI Radio Member Report : Summer Update From Providence – 2010.08.15

Greetings my fellow corp men and women & blog readers!!!

By some of the complaining I’ve read, not a lot of folks have anything new going on during the summer months, but I can tell you from my perspective… a lot is happening.

To begin with, our little pocket of space in Providence has gotten a bit “smaller.” Noir. has sold one of the systems to Luminance Alliance. I logged in earlier this week to find a number of neutrals in my local window. Luckily it was due to the fact that our leadership hadn’t been on yet to flag them as blue. EVEmails went out to inform the rest of the corp, and no friendly fire incidents occurred. Some of the corp think the pocket might be a bit to overcrowded. I for one think it will make the pocket better. As they claim sov it will mean more upgraded system(s). With their members the current upgraded systems will be less likely to drop in their sov levels due to lack of activity, and we may have the numbers to properly run mining ops. Yes some of those juicy anomalies will be claimed a bit faster, but in the end… it can only mean more of them. Now all we have to do is to see if they “play nice.”

Secondly, in one week I will have finished my last Astrometrics skill to level V. I then begin to work toward making the isk to get all the necessary implants I discusses in my previous blog. At my current skill levels and ship’s equipment my Sisters Combat Probes have a strength of 58 (base strength of 22). Needless to say I can’t wait to see what it will be with the implants. One last item regarding scanning… ***Tip – You can increase the strength of your scan results as much as 7% but just moving your probes to be on the same plane as the signature you are scanning.*** When I get my skills maxed and implants loaded I plan on doing a few tests, and will report the results.

Fly Safe… Stay profitable…

SI Radio Member Report: Agatir Solenth – 2010.07.20

Greetings my fellow corp men, women, & blog readers!!!
If given a choice to either run plexes for isk or go lose some isk pvping? I would gladly choose the later of the two. NPC AI just bores the snot out of me. I equate it to my early arcade game experience with Pac Man (yes I am dating myself). Once you discover the correct route (or tactic) against the computer, you cannot fail. It is just a matter of repeating the same course of action again and again that dictates success.

However meeting another player will never reproduce the same fight or outcome. It is just human nature. We adapt to overcome. So in each engagement, though we may have particular tactic that works most of the time, we must be prepared that it may not work. This is what makes pvp exciting. You always have the anxiety of the unexpected, and the thrill of success or the disappointment of failure. No matter which you experience you learn from it and then desire to go at it again. Probably more so in defeat, if only to prove to yourself… that won’t happen again!

Such has been my experience in 0.0 PVP. As a person who got his start in pvping by wormhole hunting, 0.0 fleet fights have proven to be a whole new animal. In wormholes I am usually the one picking the time and location of a fight. It is almost always a quick hit at run fight. I try never to be caught in the position where I do not have the advantage. I like to think that I have been pretty successful at wormhole hunting. Here is an example where my corpmate Purity called me in for some assistance while we were exploring in a wormhole. He had just been forced out of a worm by some stealth bombers and a Vexor. He was able to kill one of the stealth bombers, but was taking too much damage, and had to jump back out. He informed me, as I jumped to his location, that they had a bubble anchored on the wormhole, and that he had a session timer on the wormhole.

Tactically I understood it would be my T3 Strategic Cruiser vs a T1 Cruiser and 1 or more T2 Stealth Bombers on a wormhole. Emperor’s Wraith II has good resists, cap stable with an active tank, and ignores the effects of warp disruption bubbles. I’d be on a wormhole so if things got too bad I could bug out. Things would have to go really bad for me to lose her. Evaluating risk vs reward I crossed my fingers and jumped through. On the other side I took note of a Nemesis Stealth Bomber, and the Vexor. They sat outside of the edge of the warp bubble just past 24km. Just outside the range of my T2 Pulse Lasers.

I broke cloak, activated my resists and armor repairer, and began locking both targets. Expecting bombs I did not activate my MWD so as not to increase my signature radius, and thus increase the incoming damage from the bomb or torpedoes. As I acquired my targets in came the first bomb. I took relatively little damage, the Nemesis now warp disrupted exploded rather quickly. Another Nemesis decloaked, was locked and promptly destroyed. Keeping an eye on my armor showed that the Wraith’s tank was holding, and was ahead of the damage. A Manticore appeared and was dispatched. I then turned my attention to the Vexor. She was at the edge of my disruption range so I pulsed my MWD (turned on, then immediately off) and headed in its direction. Already target locked, it was just a matter energizing the disruptor and guns. As the shields disappeared on the Vexor and I started into its armor, another Nemesis appeared near the Vexor on the edge of the bubble. In came another bomb. I quickly locked the Nemesis, and made the decision to transfer guns and warp disruption onto the Stealth Bomber. I knew I’d break its tank before the Vexor’s. I wanted the guaranteed kill. Additionally it was closer to my escape route and I had already ordered the Wraith to approach the wormhole. It was obvious I had kicked a bees nest, and they were ready to defend their home. The Nemesis was quickly reduced to a floating wreck and the pilot podded. Unfortunately the Vexor, which must of have been aligned to jump out, was long gone.

Now I clearly got lucky in this fight. My corpmate Purity stated after the fight, “They must have been the worst stealth bomber pilots ever.” He only observed the fight via ventrillo and killmails. I would like to think of them as inexperienced or unlucky. The mistakes they appeared to have made are ones I might have made myself back when I first started flying Stealth Bombers. (cause I’m such an expert… I might have one killmail with one!) First the stealth bombers were equipped with Remote Sensor Dampeners with Targeting Range Dampener Scripts, and not Target Painters. Emperor’s Wraith targets out to 68km. If you halve that target range they were still well within targeting range. Target Painters would have increased bomb and torpedo damage. Second when they made their bomb approaches they were not aligned to immediately warp out, or were in their own warp bubble. This allowed me to lock, point, and explode them. I believe this may have been a result of jumping to the wormhole or attempting to jump to range off their Vexor friend, and thus they got pulled into their own bubble. (***Tip*** If you are going to use bubbles and Stealth Bombers set a “bounce” or “tactical” bookmark so you can warp to the wormhole without getting dragged into the bubble. Then have a bomb run bookmark set off the wormhole but in a position that you can align past your target during your bomb run. You can warp through a bubble on grid, but not out of it.) Third, the Stealth Bombers decided to conduct their bomb runs and/or start their attacks at different times. This allowed for my repairer to catch up on any damage taken. Had they used the same type of bombs at the same time they could have dropped all 3-4 bombs at the same time (bombs have high damage resists of the same damage type for just such purposes). Heck coordinating their attack might have made those Remote Target Disruptors effective? Sometimes you are the fist… other times you’re the face… I got to do the punching this time. Again I think I got really lucky in that fight… A few things go the other way, and I’m running out of that wormhole. (Total SI Radio Damage)

SO on that high, I decided to join an impromptu pvp roam with our Noir. friends with my corp mate Purity. Again, I am a wormhole pilot so 0.0 pvp is a whole new experience. Not wanting to risk a T3 ship to learn a new game, I asked them what I should fly? (I know what Manasi would say T1 frigate until you master it! Sorry I’m not that smart.) I offered up the Pilgrim Force Recon Ship or the Sentinel Electronic Attack Frigate. As speed was the thing of the day, it was the Sentinel. I figured I could help with a point, turret disruption, and maybe add a bit of energy neutralization. I had brought three Sentinels down to Providence to practice and learn. E-War is a part of the game I am trying to wrap my head around. I have to admit I have far too many skill points in it, and nowhere near enough experience to effectively use it.

Have I mentioned that is why I love EVE? Unlike other games where your character’s strength is based mainly on your character’s level, EVE skill points are not the deciding factor in an engagement. Low level players that know how to fly their ships will crush a high skill point character in pvp. IMHO that is the reason players that enjoy the “carebear” aspect of EVE have such heart burn when they get ganked in pvp. They can’t understand how a frigate can kill their battleship setup that crushes level 4 missions?

Back to the roam… So we head out of our pocket, and begin moving down the pipe looking for some targets. Now I have to give the Noir. guys and gals some credit. They allow us SI Radio guys to join them on roams when they are not on contract and hunting outside of their pocket. They are very proficient and knowledgeable when it comes to small gang pvp, have great communication discipline during a fight, and do not tolerate stupid ship loses (especially from their members). After each roam, they debrief and do an after action report (AAR). They expect us, SI Radio guys, to explain our loses too. Their FCs take it personal when anyone in their fleets loses a ship, and feel in part it is their fault (but we SI Radio guys will admit it is usually our own damn fault). I applaud them for their tolerance of our ignorance of pvp. They inform you of the correct way to do things, and then they treat you like an adult and expect you to get it right.

Well needless to say… their tolerance was not sufficient to make up for my ignorance. As we made our way to I7S-1S we came across another group of ships. The Noir. folks decided that they were most likely fit for short range damage. The FC laid plans to bait them at a gate, and engage them at range having E-War superiority with a Falcon on our side. My performance can only be described as, “I am the worst Electronic Attack Frigate pilot ever!” First, my fitting included a warp disruptor instead of a Senor Booster. This meant I had to be within 49km of an enemy to use my turret disruptors, instead of being as far as 67km. Second when I warped “at range” to our bait ship on the gate I did not jump close enough, and began to burn toward the melee to get within targeting range (be aware of what your optimals are btw). Only to have our enemy, who were speeding toward my position, quickly over take me, and proceeded to disassemble my ship. The first barrage from the Rupture sent me well into armor… I panicked tried to align out and did not warp out till I was in my pod. (Boy do pods align out quick or what?!?!) Did I mention I am very proficient at catching fists with my face?

As I sped back to the pocket in my pod, I enjoyed listening to the conflict unfold via ventrillo. In the end both sides disengaged, with isk loss ratio going in favor of the other gang. This battle report is missing the Noir. Falcon that went pop.

Fly Safe… Stay Profitable…

Ag

Next Report: Really it is all CCP’s & the CSM’s fault… Really…

SI Radio Member Report : Drama in the Pocket – A Friendly Fire Incident – 2010.07.01

Greetings my fellow corp men and women (& blog readers)!!!

Agatir here again… As one corpmate stated, “It was bound to happen.”

Most of you know that SI Radio has found a new “home” in a small pocket of 0.0 in Providence under the sovereignty control of Noir. Mercenary Group. (NMG.) As such we rent the ability to live and use the areas under their control for a “small” fee. Along with SI Radio there are a few other renters who inhabit the same systems. The majority of folks here have been enjoying the pocket’s military upgrades to farm anomalies and signatures. As you can expect, it is not uncommon to warp into a site only to find that it is already being pillaged. So you pick another site and warp off. Some of these sites are 6/10 and 10/10 complexes. Such sites have the ability to produce some really nice loot items, of the True Sansha variety. So there is some competition to race to the more lucrative sites. It is to be expected.

Since our arrival, SI Radio has lived in relative peace with its new found neighbors, but as my corpmate quote hinted to… it was only a matter of time before some feathers got ruffled.

***Warning: the following is all based upon Agatir Solenth’s in game perspective, and does not pretend to be the whole truth, and not thing but the truth***

As I log into game, yesterday evening, and make my customary salutations, I am greeted with folks telling me NOT to undock! This puzzled me, as there were only blues in system. Suspecting there may be a 20 man roaming gang running through the pocket, I inquired to what was going on? I was informed that we just had a friendly fire incident with our neighbors, in an adjacent system, in a 10/10 complex, and fingers were being pointed back and forth on who shot who first! To further complicate things both sides were claiming that THEY had got to complex first.

WOOT!!! Our first diplomatic crisis! I wasn’t sure if SI Radio even had diplomats other than Luminous or Quivering Palm (QP) and they are just talk show hosts! Luckily QP had just got online, so things were being discussed in some chat channel.

As this is a blog, and not a novel… I’ll just give the quick recap of what was passed in corp chat.

***Warning: the names and places have been changed to protect the fact I didn’t much care to pay that much attention***

Our Guy > We didn’t shoot first.

QP> He says that you did.

Our Guy> I got the logs to prove it.

QP> He says that he has a screen shot & logs to prove it.

QP> http: ENTER SCREEN SHOT HERE

QP>Wow he is really mad.

Our Guy> Yeah I trying to stay diplomatic but how can you when they talk like that?

Our Guy> Yep. He is just mad that we were here first.

QP> Were you?

Our Guy> Yes, we had to warp out and when we warped back in they were there, but we had wrecks all over.

Our Guy> He is claiming that it was his escalation.

Agatir Solenth> Um… guys is it me or is the first thing listed in that screen shot a combat message showing him shooting our drones? Then our drones shoot him?

Our Guy> Yep Agatir. He attacked our drones. They must have been set to aggressive and they attacked him.

QP> He must have been mad because you guys got there first? Did you guys blow his ship up?

Our Guy> No

QP> Then what is he bitching about?

Agatir Solenth>*SHRUG*

So… no blood no foul? I think everyone agreed to go their separate ways, and it was reinforced by our landlords (NMG.) that it is first come first serve on all sites in the pocket. I thought it a fair solution all around.

And in the end I got to test my Abby’s tank against the final room of a 10/10 complex and help my corp score a Nightmare Blueprint! ;p

Fly Safe… Stay profitable…

As promised during the last show (if you haven’t yet listened to it) we are opening up recruitment.

You may skip to the 2h 35min index of Episode 16 to hear the relative talk – this post aims to cover what we are looking for in potential recruits and what we are offering.

Who are we looking for

- Mature, self-sufficient players with a good grasp of the game. We are based out of 0.0 so if you just joined the game, this is not for you.

- Having said that, we are not following a “10M SP minimum” policy or anything, rather than that you have already discovered what you want to do in the game and you feel you are ready to go to 0.0

- That implies that you like to live in an environment that is high risk / high reward. We are explorers, amongst the first to enter wspace and went all the way from C1 sites to farming Class 6 sites with just a handful of people. We expect that any new recruit has a strong sense of exploration and doesn’t expect to be handed a plate of food, but rather that you will “get what you put in”.

- If you (like us) used to live out in wspace, you will feel at home. We are still focusing on doing high-end PVE in Class 5/6 wormholes, but based out of a base in 0.0 rather than a POS inside wspace. This allows us to form raiding parties in wspace, while when there is no scheduled PVE op we can go for a small-gang PVP roam or you can stay in 0.0 and do some ratting / plexing on your own in fully upgraded systems.

- PVP skills are more than welcome, but given that we don’t consider ourselves relatively good at PVP (some could say we really suck at it) we don’t expect to get any seasoned PVP focused players. We aim to train ourselves and get good at PVP sooner rather than later, so you may want to join us and hone your PVP skills together with the rest of us.

- Some of us might like doing PVP more than anything else, but we also have folks that rather shoot at rocks all day long. If you like Mining and are not afraid to take the risk to move into 0.0, then you will find lots of opportunities to mine ABC ores and help in gathering resources to build everything from T1 all the way up to T3 ships and items (including capitals).

What we can offer you

- A friendly, “casual” gameplay style. Not too many rules and regulations, but not without structure either. We don’t tolerate griefing, scamming and smacktalking. We are not pirates either. We operate under strict NBSI (not blue shoot it) rules of engagement.

- We have a strong logistics backend to support our operations and you can get advantage of that to focus on what you want to do.

- Organized PVE ops in high-end Class 5/6 Wormholes with experienced FCs and also the opportunity to learn how to PVP with the rest of us.

- We offer corp-insured PVE, Mining and PVP ships. Based on how much we trust you and the way you handle yourself in fights, you can get access from T1 frigates all the way to T3 ships (provided you can fly them efficiently) when we go out in a corp operation. You are expected to have your own PVE & PVP ships ofc. Same applies for mining ships, with Orca / Rorqual support for large operations.

- A strong base of operations located in Providence, able to roam freely in the constellation, with 4 stations with corp hangars, under the Sov of NOIR. Mercenary Group. The new Providence as it shapes up, looks like it’s going to become a small-gang PVP haven.

- Strong EU time zone players (who usually stay up late so you can also find us online in some of the US time zones as well :-p) US players welcome.

What we want from you

- If you are interested, send an eve-mail to Quivering Palm, with a brief description of your profile and what you’ve been doing so far in-game, as well as what you aim to achieve while part of SI Radio.

- Limited API Key is also required.

- Be available for an interview with one of our recruiting officers (you will be notified by eve-mail) using EVE Voice.

Recruitment will officially open May 1st

Please feel free to send in your application beforehand if interested, but we won’t be able to accept anyone’s app before May 1st.

EDIT:

Almost forgot – if you are Greek you get bonus beer points

After managing to air 16 episodes (well technically 15, but we don’t talk about Episode 12) and 48 hours of airtime and verbal diarrhea, we have finally reached the season finale. An episode that marks the end of our Planet Risk wormhole endeavors, and the beginning of our new life in Providence. Don’t miss this episode as we publicly announce that we’re actively recruiting and of course the details of how you can go about it.

Quivering will add the show notes later on (and maybe he’ll scan his hand-written show notes and upload them too just for shits and giggles). Also, we’d like to thank you for being such an awesome bunch of listeners and managing to endure us for the whole season. Thank you for tuning in and we invite you to keep doing so for Season 2.. starting soon™

A sort non-fictional story by Merinid Dormer

February 14th, Sunday. 19:00 New Eden Time.

Vessper was sitting in his Thanatos. “I am aligning and waiting for instructions” he said.

“10 more minutes to go” said Nictutu.

Quivering Palm with a steady voice continued, “ Guys, this is it. It’s now or never”.

“Let’s secure that tower and the stuff we have in it”, I added with a bit of a doubt in my voice. Hopefully no-one had noticed. Morale was not on the highest levels. Some minor fleet changes of the last minute, nothing i could notice while i was shacking. My fleet fight experience wasn’t helping either. All I could think were the Blueprints, Components and Minerals behind the damaged force field of our Production Tower, sitting just 0.54 AU away. Those were what I’ve been working on for the past few months. All the research and effort Eowarian and I have put on these…

“Everyone who has a cloak jump in, the rest stay in place”. He sounded confident. He was Alekseyev Karrde. The CEO of one of the most notorious and experienced mercenary corporations in New Eden. NOIR. When a mercenary, like his kind, is in your side your only fear is that he might get more money than you gave him from the “enemy”. Alekseyev and NOIR weren’t like this though, they had the reputation of honoring their contracts, regardless of money. “ Members of SI Radio Corp. you don’t have to worry about anything. We are here and we know how to do this. Follow our lead and we will secure your system again.

TechPalatinus was patient. He and his 30 pilots were ready. All of them, well trained and experienced pilots. “We are in place and waiting for orders as well”. Wormhole Space colonist feared his corporation. Capital Construction Research members were ruthless. They were known for destroying Towers and stealing whatever valuables they could find. They were on our side. They have been friends for quite some time now.

“1 minute 30 seconds” said Nictutu.

“TeaDaze jump in” Quivering ordered. Orders is not something that TeaDaze is supposed to take I thought. The guy is a legend. He was always in our side. What a pilot. He was a daredevil.

“There is a command ship that we can provide for you to fly TeaDaze” said Luminus Aardokay. “Well thanks a lot man” answered TeaDaze.

“SI Radio Corp. members, are you ready?” asked Quivering.

One by one, Luminus Aardokay, Nictutu, Vessper, Estar Tarns, Sengiria, Verona Black, Eowarian D, Viscious Hunter, Sir Keldron, Drapetis and myself replied “Here”. 20 seconds of silence followed, or was it like an hour? At that point I couldn’t make the difference.

“Mr Deaker reporting movement in the enemy tower”

“Reinforced is down in our tower” said Nictutu.

“Vessper you are clear to warp” went on Quivering.

“I see an Armageddon Navy Issue, 3 Proteus, 3 Legions, 2 Bhaalgorn, 2 Thanatos and one Megathron moving & aligning towards planet VIII” continued Mr Deaker.

“Let us know when they are on grid Vessper” said Alekseyev

10 seconds afterwards Vessper was already repairing the Shields of our Control Tower. “They are on grid. I got hostiles all over me.”

“Everyone jump in. Quivering move your fleet in.”

TechPalatinus followed. 20 of his best pilots inside Strategic Cruisers.

Rooks & Kings have failed to spot the trap. And they paid the price. The day was to be remembered as Valentine’s Day Massacre.

The fight over our system was over. We were once again the ones to control it. The Siege was over. Things were getting back on track. But I was left wondering. What was to come next?

It was clear to me that Wormhole Space systems are special. Not just another part of space just recently discovered, but the foundation on which the world we live in is going to grow into something greater. The 3rd generation of Cruiser Construction is the present. But scientist are working on different aspects of any technology discovered in wormhole space. Rumors are traveling about 3rd generation Frigates and Battleships. If those rumors are close to being truth one thing is for sure. Wormhole space is the future. This is where new challenges arise. Where money is made. And day by day more capsuleers dare to be bold. More people pack up their stuff and search for glory, money inside wormhole space, setting up colonies. 3rd generation production is profitable. Scientist of all major factions are paying good money to get their hands on items saved from Sleeper wrecks. They call them “Blue Tags”. A single Anomaly once gave our corp “Tags” that worth more than 700 million ISK, the salvaged wrecked provided us with enough materials to build 2 3rd Generation Cruisers.

Pirates, Mercs, Spies, Industrialist, Mission Runners, Miners, Traders. They all want their cut. They will come to take it. And to do that they will need to take control of wormhole systems.

The Era Of Capital Fleet Fights Over Control Of Wormhole Systems Is Upon Us

Are The Colonies Prepared To Defend?
